I am in receipt of a letter to Noah Strickland, dated Mar 1, 1864 concerning the death of his sons, Charles (Charley) and Joseph (Crow) Strickland. As I've mentioned before, I am trying to locate Charles Strickland, husband of Tabitha (or Talitha)(born in Georgia) who was in the 1850 and 1860 Census' for Paulding County, Georgia. My great, great grandfather, William Wesley Strickland was born in December of 1864 - so it doesn't look like this Charles is mine...I have no idea who Charles' siblings were..all I know is that his date of birth would be circa 1830 in Alabama..... I also know that the names "Wesley" and "Anderson" keep repeating in the family line. (IF this is my Charles, there's a definite paternity issue here.)
