(Lavell or Lanell) COPELAND, who was born in 1937 in Etowah or an adjacent county. Dorothy is now married to a law enforcement officer and lives outside of Alabama. Her father was born around 1908, and had twin sisters. Her mother was born around 1919. There were 4 daughters and 6 sons born to this family.
