James and Nancy Chambers BELLEW were married in 1860 in St. Clair County. Their son, Roland Harvey Bellew was born in 1862 in Attalla, Etowah County. In 1870, Roland, age 7, was living with his Chambers grandparents. What happened to his parents James and Nancy BELLEW??? Roland H. BELLEW married Arleasy WILCOX in Etowah County in 1881. According to Roland's obituary, they had 11 children. The obit lists 7 children (6 girls/1 boy) and states that 4 children preceded him in death. Roland and family were in Collin County, TX by 1906/1907. I believe that the unknown children may be buried in Etowah County - but where??? If someone has access to the 1900 Etowah County census (city of Attalla), could you please look up the Roland BELLEW household for me?
