I am looking for information regarding my great grandmother, Sarah Francis "Sally" GILMORE . She was b. 1852, GA, married Bryant Thomas "B. T." POPE 24 Dec 1873, in Lee Co, AL, d. 5 Mar 1889, probably in Etowah Co, AL. She was in the household in the 1880 U. S. Census, Blount Co, AL. (Names in parenthesis are mine) 1880 AL Census, Blount Co. POPE was born in the Etowah Co area also.) Bryant Thomas "B. T." POPE married Sara Emma HALL, 20 Jun 1889, probably in Phenix City, Russell Co, AL. They had Albert L. POPE, Mabel Inez "Tinnie Mae" POPE (m. Walter CRITTENDEN), Alven B. POPE, S. L. POPE and J. D. POPE. Sara Emma HALL POPE, b. 5 Oct 1855, GA, d. 24 Dec 1896, probably in Phenix City, Russell Co, AL. Bryant Thomas "B. T." POPE was living in Columbus, GA at time of 1900 census. His 3rd wife (Cynthia Missouri “Pinkie” Coleman Gullatt-married 10 May 1897) was not listed living in the household. Census record indicates that B. T. Pope was living in house #86 on 20th Street, Columbus, GA in a rented house, with 3 children (Vaster, Lopez and Tinnie) and his mother (Elizabeth).
