    1. [31] BRASSEALE Family of North Alabama
    2. tony brazell
    3. Hello, I am a descendant of the BRASSEALE family of North Alabama. My family came to Blount County before 1830. I know that some of my ancestors lived in Etowah County, near Walnut Grove and Aurora. They are John S. BRASSEALE(Braziel) married to Rhoda WITT. Also, John's brother Kinchen S.BRASSEALE married Jane BROTHERS. John and Kinchen are sons of Elias Brasseale. Elias married Phereba (Pherby) RHEA in Warren County, TN in 1810. Elias fought the Creek Indians in the War of 1812. ELias and Pherby's other children are William H., Nancy Brasseale ALLRED, Mary (Polly) Brasseale LATHAM and ELias (HOSS) DeLoach Brasseale (my great great grandfather). Hoss was married twice. He was married before the Civil War, then he came back and either his first wife left him or she died. I have heard several things about this. Hoss' second wife is Elizabeth NIMON. THey had nine sons. The sons are the following, starting with the oldest and ending with the youngest; John Patrick (Pete)(my great grandafather) 1866, George D. 1870., Elias Benjamin 1872, Kinchen Ebbenezeer 1874, Andrew Jackson 1876, Isaac M. 1878, James Henry 1880, Alvin O. 1882, and Isom Alonzo Brasseale 1884. Hoss died in 1909 and was buried at Salem Bapt Church cemetery in Brooksville. Elizabeth died in 1927 and was buried in Zion Hill Church cemetery. Is anyone related to this family or knows about this family willing to share information with several researchers. Thanks, Tony Brazell Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama [email protected] _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
