I am researching the William Brown family and would like to exchange info with any one searching this line. The family lived in Cherokee Co which later became Etowah. William died before 1860 since he does not show up in the 1860 Cherokee Co census. All the family stayed in Etowah Co from 1870 to 1930, except for David Simpson Brown my g grandfather. He went to Texas but I am not sure just when. I have been unable to find him and Adeline for 1870 and 1880. Any help appreciated and I will share what I have.
