I live in North Alabama now, but I was born in Webster's Chapel in 1943, and went through Elementary and Jr. High School at the Webster's Chapel School. My mother, father and grandparents were also raised there. I can't remember ever knowing of a family or person named McCullers, but the name does seem to stir some memories of a place name, perhaps McCullers Cemetery, McCullers Place (house or farm) for example. It was common there for a location to be referred to by the original occupants name for several succeeding generations. I had loads of relatives there and thought I knew everyone in that area.
