Jan. 22, 1760 GRanville, NC, d. abt. 1845, Franklin Co., GA + Elisha DYER/DYAR m. Jan. 2, 1790. He b. May 6, 1763, Great Falls, Va, d. Sept. 4, 1839, Franklin Co., GA their 8th child, Martin DYAR, b. July 7, 1808, Franklin Co., GA, d. July 28, 1872, Oconee Co., SC + Rhoda RUSSELL, b. July 20, 1806, Pickens Co., SC, d. Aug. 30, 1889 (they had 12 children) (I have all children and several of their marriages). their 7th child, Jane Lucinda DYAR, b. July 1, 1839, d. June 14, 1872 + John M M ROBINSON m. on March 6, 1862, b. Nov. 16, 1829 GA, d. Dec. 25, 1892, Oconee Co., SC (parents unknown) He then married Jane's sister, Susan Ann DYAR (ch. #9), on May 10, 1873 (he had 3 small children to raise and they needed a mother). She was the step mother to Redden's son, Joel W. BATSON. I'm not directly related to Peter R. BROWN. I descend through Joel. The STONE that I have is MARBEL STONE (or Marvel). He was b. ? , m. abt 1757, and d. abt. 1810 in Jefferson Co., GA. His daughter, ANNA STONE, m. John McANALLY abt. 1773 in Surry Co., NC. Anna McANALLY d. in Lawrence Co., TN abt. 1841-45. Feb. 9, 1892 Cherokee Co., AL, d. 1959 When Bailus and Mary died, Ollie and Mary Ella were taken in and raised by Mary C. Duke. (I don't kow who raised Arthur.) Mary C. Duke's maiden name was SMITH. She married Bynum DUKE Jan 14, 1843 in Wake Co., NC., bondsman was Carns T. SMITH. Bynum and Mary DUKE are on the 1850 Benton Co., AL census HH# 563 with Hardy SMITH, 61 M NC and family on one side and Meril Smith 70 M NC and family on the other.
