AL, parents b. AL, does odd jobs for livery stable..married to Ada E., age 26, b. AL, 1st marriage, no children again on the 1920 census in Gadsden, Etowah Co, AL when he was listed as age 46 and the proprietor of a grocery store..Ada is listed as age 35 and they have 3 children: Paul, age 9, Mildred, age 8, and Lawrence, age 11 months, all born in AL. His WWI Draft Card (Etowah Co) gives his name as Albert Lanza Tidmore, born 12 Sept 1873. His occupation is merchant/farmer and he is self employed. Can't find anything I can be sure of after that, though. Paul 'may' have joined the military and been stationed in GA in 1930 and there is a death record for a Paul A. Tidmore, 28 Feb 1957, Etowah Co. I think it's kind of strange that Columbus seems to have disappeared for a number of years. He died in May 1925, according to AL Death Records, and if I'm not mistaken, he's buried at Union Hill just up the road from me...along with his wife.

Thanks, I am related to the MOON on my mothers side, 'Joe' Judson MOON was her cousin, he died in 1997 after he went to the GROOVER renuion in Marietta, Ga., the reunion was in June and in Sept, I think, he slipped and hit his head on the coffee table and never recovered, he was in his 90's, I made a video at that reunion and just got it transferred to DVD this week, my mother was his cousin, she always talked about Joe, she really cared for him, his son, Robert, is a disabled Vietnam Veteran and lives up that way now. My grandmother was a GROOVER and married a DAVIS in Alabama City. delilah ----- Original Message ----- From: "Keitha Kirk" <kkirk6@cableone.net> To: <aletowah@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, December 28, 2006 10:55 AM Subject: Re: [ALETOWAH] Bonnie Lewis Freeman - Lottie Moon and Means, mayor | Lottie Moon was a missionary overseas and now the Baptist have a fund that supports that missionary work.
