I have done a lot of notetaking and contemplating in the cemetery. I was told by my grandmother (1899-1997) that a COLLIER was keeping church records but they were lost or destroyed,possibly by a dog or rats???, at least the OLD records. COOSA COUNTY CEMETERY RECORDS also copied Carolina cemetery inscriptions before Linda Blankenship. A HISTORY OF COOSA COUNTY mentions the church and its forefathers. I have a couple of elderly cousins who MIGHT have some knowledge of your family members in unmarked graves. Would pass along their names and phone numbers but not on this message board, for their privacy. Where are you located? What specific families are you researching?
