I have Grays in my direct line (my GG Grandmother was a Gray who married a Wingard). I also have lots of family in Elmore, Coosa, Autauga, Chilton and Tallapoosa Counties that include Grays. I have a few Wilsons, including some who married Grays. And I have some Browns intermingled as well. Perhaps you should contact me off this board and we'll see what we can discover.
