Yes, there was/is a Methodist Church in Wetumpka. Established in 1837, and building completed in 1854, so it fits your time frame. It is now known as the First United Methodist Church, and is located at 306 West Tuskeena Street, Wetumpka, AL 36092. The current building is the original as added onto, and is registered as a National Historical Building. I do not know if they have any records that far back, but can say that there is not a cemetery associated with the church. Interment would have most likely been in the Wetumpka City Cemetery, which was the only cemetery in town until the late 1950's or early 60's when a Memorial Garden was opened. When I lived there, (1945 to 1968) people from outlying areas came in to the church in Wetumpka for worship. History indicates that this was the practice for many years, and may still be.
