I've pulled my papers out of the file and it was Carrie's sister Mary Bailey George that signed the death certificate. Elizabeth Lake died 8-31-1930 and is buried in Little Flock Cemetery in Wetumpka, Elmore Co, AL. (this is the date on her death certificate, but I was supplied Aug 27, 1930 from Linda Blankenship. I believe this is the date listed on her tombstone. Carrie's Father John W. Bailey is also buried in Little Flock. The court house in Elmore Co, couldn't produce the death certificate on John, but he is recorded as b: 10/11/1849 D: 2/2/1916. I've been trying to find information on this line for many years and keep getting turned in circles. I have many speculations, but can't find hard proof. Email me for more details at NCmxMom@nc.rr.com
