Laura, The Perry Aldridge on your list, d. 15 Dec 1864, is my g-g-grandfather, though our family use the Alldredge spelling. He was b. abt 1830 in Mt. Vernon, Posey Co, IN, married Elizabeth Fowler 11 Feb 1852 in Port Byron, Rock Island Co, Il. They were living in Rock Island Co IL when he enlisted in 1862. Elizabeth died in Dec 1869 and left 4 children orphans, William H. , b. 14 Mar 1854-d 21 Mar 1931,; Isabelle b. 9 May 1857-d 1925/27; Charles, died as infant, James b. 9 Nov 1860-d. abt 1942 in S. Dakota at age 81 and Oliver Perry , b. 25 Jan 1863-d 23 Aug 1936 in Bevier, Macon co, MO.
