Still Looking. Here is what I have found so Far. Jesse Aldridge RS.   m. Elizabeth ??? his second wife in NC>   It has been said Jesse was originally from VA>   but havent been able to find info proving that.   Three of their four children were born in NC. they were :   Jesse, Isham, and Nancy.   the fourth child Neal   was born in Ga. in Appling Co. Ga.   in 1824. By 1827   Jesse RS was dead As Elizabeth recieved   a land lottery as a R.S. widow in 1827 Land Lattery for appling County Ga. Would like to find the connection to Jesse R.S. Aldridge Parents. Have not been able to find any info thru Revolutionary War records. This is an important link to the Aldridges of South Ga.   as I think Jesse RS and Elizabeth were the first to arrive. Thank you Alvin am747@webtv.net
