She died Jul 3 1937 in Royce City, TX. Buried in Poetry, TX. She was married to John Lamuel Bratten in Cave City Arkansas on Aug 6, 1879. We think her father was Absolam B. Aldridge but we have never been totally sure. She is my husbands great grandmother. We know they lived in and around the Cave City, Arkansas area for about 10 years before moving to Texas. We went to Batesville and got a copy of their marriage certificate. Not much help. If she is in fact the daughter of Absolam then there is information on the web about them. If not we are stuck where we have been for 15 years. Information on him is even harder to find. Any information would be appreciated.
