Hi Listers, Posting my info again...just in case. Looking for info on William M. Aldridge (Aldred, Aldredge). His tombstone reads 1849-1921 but his death certificate says he was 75 years old when he died which would mean he was born in 1846. His death certificate also says he was born in SC but his daughter's birth certificate says he was born in NC. There are no parents listed for him on his death certificate. I have found a census record from 1850 Randolph Co., NC that lists a William Aldridge 4 years old...but not sure if the same...need further investigation.
