I have this Harrison listed as one of 8 children born to Ben ALDRIDGE (son of James Aldridge b 1728 or 1785 andBetsy Calloway d 1900) and Millie BURLESON. This Harrison lived near Spear, NC in the western part of the state. He was known to have been in a mining accident that resulted in loss of sight when he was young. My other Harrison is listed as Harrison E. ALDRIDGE b Dec. 15, 1821 d Jan 11, 1905. He lived his entire life in western NC - what is currently Watauga Co.
