Virginian Pilot, Norfolk, VA Aug. 13, 2002 Robert M. Aldridge VIRGINIA BEACH -- Robert Morris Aldridge, 80, of the 2900 block of W. Gibbs Road, died Aug. 10, 2002. He was born in Steele County, Minn. on Dec. 9, 1921 to the late Sidney L. Aldridge and the late Nita M. Aldridge (Spotten). He was a member of Cava Free Will Baptist Church and a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Aldridge (Maxey). A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Cremation Society of Virginia is in charge of arrangements.
