Marriage Register 1- Page 3 ; # 15- John Aldridge & Sybilla Reiley- 1/27/1799- Min. Christian Streit Page 4; # 26 Andrew Alldridge & Margaret S. Green- 1/14/1847 Page 69 # 28 Margaret Rebecca Altrit & Jacob Grotz- 11/17/1793- Min. Christian Streit Page 189 # 4 Mary Aldridge & Daniel Williams- 12/25/1783- Min. Alexander Balmain I wrote these down while looking for a connection to the Dick family. We have a Peter Dick who it is said married a Mary Altrate.No proof anywhere of this surname. No Altrates surface in this area. But Aldridge does & also in Pa. There is also a Grandson to the above couple who was given the first name of Attridge/Aldridge. Can anyone shed any light on this line of Aldridges in Frederick Co.,Va? The name Gassaway also appears here & in Pa. with a marriage into the Dick family from Chester Co.,Pa. Thank You!, Rebecca
