Greetings of the season to all Arledge descendants and researchers! I wanted to let you know that the Arledge Family History Project Worldconnect database at http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=wilsonpam has been updated this week. I believe that I have incorporated all of the additions and corrections from the family history information that many of you have sent me (if I've missed your additions, please remind me and I'll see if I overlooked them). I hope that you'll find this information, which is based upon the collected research of so many of you, helpful as you work on your family histories. Many thanks to everyone who has contributed so much to this collaborative project! If you have additional information to add, please send me complete details (names; dates and locations of birth, marriage, death; occupations and other interesting facts; spouses and children and grandchildren; other documents or information such as family bible entries, wills, deeds, court records, etc.) and I will add them to the comprehensive family history files. Please note that I use a privacy filter with WorldConnect to keep personal details of living individuals off of the web pages, other than names and birth year (no specifics). However, I do keep the specifics in my personal database for posterity, so please send as much information as you would like and feel assured that it will be safe with me. For more detail on the historical information for each of the branches of the Arledge family, as well as folklore, oral histories, old letters and photos, census data, and other fascinating historical documents, please consult the Arledge Family History Project main web page at http://www.geocities.com/~wilson_pam. I'd love to add to this collection, if you have old photos, letters or documents to share. I wish each of you and your families a very special Christmas season this year, and we will all look forward to a year of peace in 2002. I look forward to hearing from you!
