Additional information from my bits and pieces: George Washington Cook, s/o Johnson Cook, b NC married Louira Aldridge, on June 29, 1830 in Muhlenberg C,o, KY: Daughter Emily A. Cook 2nd married Nancy Jane Aldridge O'Conner, Hopkins Co, KY 1849. Nancy believed to be sister to Louira Aldridge Cook, d 1847 or 1848 Hopkins Co, KY. Second marriage may have ended when Wasington sued for divorce and went to Franklin Co, IL. Information on Death cert of daughter says that Louira Aldridge was boin in NC. I have found wrong information on some death certs. Hoping someone has further informtion on these Aldridges. Also researching.
