I have some conflicting information and am wondering which is correct. The National Aldrich page (http://www.geocities.com/SouthBeach/Marina/2343/) gives the birth place of George Aldrich as being in Derbyshire, England. But http://www.wasatch.com/~dsam/aldrich/desc01.htm lists he was born in Great, Berkhampstead, Hertfordshire, England. NAA gives the marriage as 3 September 1629, dsam gives it as 3 November 1629., Death, NAA, 1 March 1682/83, dsam, 2 March 1683. Mendon, Worcester, Massachusetts. Which places and dates are correct, or mostly agreed on as being correct? Did Katherine Seald die in 1691 or 1692? Another request, does anyone have more information on the family of James Aldrich b 29 March 1786 and Hannah Comstock b. 5 June 1792 than contained on David Samuelsen's web pages? http://www.wasatch.com/~dsam/aldrich/desc38.htm#5580 They say they had a son Henry but no more. Alison sent me information that my Sarah Aldrich b 29 July 1808 is a daughter of James and Hannah. What other children are there? dates, places please. Sarah is by 7th g grandmother. Also dsam's page lists James birth date as 24 March 1858 (mine was same, 1964 BTW). The information that Alison sent said James birth date was 3 March 1858, the information she sent was from GAG which I'm told is full of errors. When GAG conflicts with David Samuelson's information I assume I would be best to follow his information, correct? Another conflict between GAG and dsam's page, Samuel Aldrich born1665, or November 1661? Did Joseph Aldrich marry Patience Osborne in December 1661 or 26 February 1661?
