Hi All Cuz's: I was just on another list, and answered someone about my not being on the net. I happened to think of this some time ago, and decided to share it with all of you. Many of us (me included) cannot afford to be on the internet. Now what would you think, that if you have a parent, or a loved one or even a friend who cannot or is not on the internet, how nice it would be if you and or perhaps a group of family, etc, chipped in a bought a subscription for a year of internet. Instead of trying to buy Mom something for Mother's Day, why not give a gift certificate to the Office Supply store where she buys her computer supplies, give her a print cartridge [you all know how much they cost], a case of paper, or even a $10 roll of quarters if she goes to a place to make copies of articles. You know how copying can run into money. If she does a lot of writing, a $32.00 roll of stamps along with a box of envelopes (500) would also be a nice gift. A gift like this is usable, it doesn't need to be washed, ironed, dusted, don't have to worry about the color going with the rest of the house, etc. Food for thought - and if you want to bombard me with hate mail - do it privately please. Have a Good day!
