    3. Hi Aldrich Cuz's, Can we add to the VIP Aldrich listing on the NAA page?? Anyone finding who Dr. Aldrich is, please post it to the list, too. How about posting any VIP Aldrich, that is not already mentioned on the NAA page , and John can add 'em . Do we have any famous WOMEN Aldrich gals??? :) I am surprised not to see the famous Quaker Moses Aldrich preacher amongst the Famous below.. I'd like to see added: ******************************************************** ALDRICH MOSES: Famous Quaker Preacher Mose Aldrich was b. 1 Apr. 1690, Mendon, Ma. s/o Jacob and Huldah Thayer: d. 9 Sep. 1761 Mendon, Ma. age 71: m. Hannah White 23 Apr. 1711, Mendon, Ma. Bur, Quaker Cemetery, George St. Mendon, Ma. A Huge plaque at the entrance of the cemetery marks the site where Moses Aldrich preached many sermons. Also An inscribed marker within the cemetery,was placed at the site of Moses interment, by the Mnedon Historical Society. . Moses preached wherever Friends were settled. He preached in the colonies as far south as the Carolina's , Traveled to the the Island of Barbados, and the Bristish Isles, where he remained over 2 years, preaching the Quaker doctrine, with a dedicated spirit. He probably had no formal education but formal schooling could not have bestow the tremendous depth of his spiritual understanding and zeal. Mose was one of the Colonies better known preachers of that era. Any objections??? and can anyone add to this short history??? His most successful book, The Story of a Bad Boy (1870), was an autobiographical novel about his boyhood. Nelson Wilmarth Aldrich. (1841--1915) US politician, born in Foster, RI. He was elected to Congress (1879--81), after which the Rhode Island legislature chose him for a seat in the US Senate (1881--1911). By the turn of the century he controlled the Senate for the Republicans on domestic issues, ruthlessly defending big business and a high protective tariff. Click for more! Rockefeller, Jr., and Abby Aldrich Rockefeller, served as governor of the State of New York (1959-1973) and as Vice-President of the United States (1974-1977).
