Hi Lori: Ok - I'll put down what I am doing and go back to this. Rachel Aldrich is the dau of Peter and Miriam Ray. She did not marry Dan Daniels, and Dan Daniels is actually Darius who married Ruth Aldrich, b. 29 Jun 1741, dau of #62 Joseph and Elizabeth (Prentice) Aldrich. Some of the data is incorrect in the Mendon, MA VR's, but the children AJ assigned to Rachel and Dan Daniels in the GAG belong to Ruth and Darius. Then in #62, AJ further had the error that Ruth married Dorcas Daniels. This is a glaring error, which is what I also pointed outwhen I did the spiel back before the holidays. Therefore, William Comstock is correct. Also, Rachel had a sister Mariam, who was suppsedly born 1751 in Mendon. She is not listed in Mendon vitals. I think that Peter and Meiriam went to Smithfield, or close by and that Miriam and last child Nathaniel (Rev War) was more than likely also b. in RI. Cannot prove it, because I don't have the Smithfield or Cumberland RI vitals. I did some more work on her brother, Nathaniel. He was in Maine. In 1790 he was living in Freeport, and this is near where Wolf's Neck State Park is now. Regards, alison
