He and Rachel were not doing anything that generated vital statistics in Royalston, such as having children, etc. The History of Royalston, A by Lillian Caswell 1917 lists Peter Barton on pg 410. I only have a portion of this history and not that page, so cannot tell you what it says. There are no entries for Aldrich in this index. However, there is an Aldrich in the book - Luther Ballou who is in GAG (AJ # 160vii) He married a Clarissa Davis, dau of Capt Joseph and Sophia (White) Davis, born in Royalston. Luther Ballou was born in Richmond, NH 7 Sep 1797. (Hist. of Royalston pg 210) For some trivia here, some of the Davises who lived in Royalston were descendants of Edward Rawson, or married Rawson descendants. Alison
