Dear Elizabeth, I have traced my wife's Aldrich line back to George Aldrich, who was born in Derbyshire, England about 1605. I used to collect information about all of George's ancestors until I learned that there were others doing the same thing and I decided that I did not want to duplicate their efforts. Therefore, I quit collecting information that was not directly related to my wife's direct line. I am sending a copy of my reply to the ALDRICH Mailing List, where many members of the National Aldrich Association gather to exchange information. I am sure that you will receive a message from one of your cousins explaining how to join the NAA and subscribe to the mailing list.
