Hello My name is Mac McKinsey and I live in Gillette , Wyoming . I just recently subscribed to the Aldrich newsletter . I'm new at this and don't really know quite how things work , so , I guess I'll just throw something out and see what might happen . What little Aldrich research I've done is as follows : Thomas Aldrich - born May 1852 in Ohio married Jennie I. Collins (born june 1862 in Indiana ) on April 21 , 1880 in Tippecanoe Co. , Indiana . They had nine children , Edith Elizabeth born May 28 , 1881 Don born 1883 Harry T. born April 1884 Courtney born Dec. 1885 Orth Erie born March 1888 Lewis S. born Nov. 1889 Harold B. born Oct. 1892 Ruth V. born July 1895 Cozette born Dec. 1899 Orth Erie was my grandfather. He married Faye (Abell) Platt in 1919 in Guernsey , Wyoming . Orth's brother Harry was also living in Guernsey at the time and they ran a livery and dray buisness togther . Some time in the late 20's Orth disappeared and was never heard from again by the Abell family .In 1939 his sister Edith died in Boise , Idaho . In her obituary it stated that Orth was residing in Longview , Washington . I have not been able to locate him on any death index as yet . I am greatly interested in finding both ends of this family and would appreciate any information that might help me trace the family back and find where Orth resided at the time of his death.
