The third annual Naylor (Nailer, Naler, Nailor) Family Reunion will be held on Saturday, July 24, 1999 from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, at the Fellowship Hall of Mt. Zion Baptist Church near Sardis, Alabama on Sand Mountain (near Boaz) off U.S. 431. We are the descendants of James Naylor and Margaret Roden. James Naylor, born in 1788, was the son of Dixon Naylor (son of James Nailer) and Mary Carpenter (daughter of Stephen Carpenter). Margaret Roden, born in 1789, was the daughter of Jeremiah Roden and Susannah Kirkland. Please bring any old records, Bible records, and photographs of your ancestors. Also, bring copies of your family tree and any memorabilia that you may have to share. Luncheon will be similar to dinner on the ground so bring covered dishes. Drinks and dinnerware will be provided. A donation will be taken up to help cover the expenses of the reunion.
