I have some pictures found in my mother-in-law's home when she died. My husband and I thought we had found, and with her help labeled, all her pictures--but we missed some. Now we would like some help with identification. She was Flora BOBO DOOLEY, grew up in Ft. Payne, and spent lots of time with her BOBO grandparents on Sand Mountain. One of the pictures is a large group of people, mostly men, in front of a church. Thought it might have been an early building of Mt. Moriah Baptist which is where most of out BOBOs attended, but a relative (not a BOBO, but a relative on the TURNER side) in Ft. Payne says no. Another one is also of a large group of people, and my husband's uncle says he thinks it was taken at a get-together at "the Nichols place." Both were probably taken around the turn of the century. We can recognize my husband's grandfather, George Wiley BOBO, as a young man in the one at the Nichols place. He was born in 1882, so that's why we're dating this one around the turn of the century. I wonder if I might scan these pictures and send them to someone to identify--if I can figure out to do that! Barbara Dooley Cullowhee, NC
