I am searching for information regarding BENJAMIN F. PADEN and wife, Almira and their family of nine or ten children. I know that Benjamin bought federal land in DeKalb County in 1845 and 1851 and that then he later moved west. Almira Paden was a mixed-blood Cherokee and the family is listed on the Siler Roll. I am also looking for information regarding JOHN PADEN, SR , Benjamin's father who bought land at the same time. Finally, Benjamin Paden's father in law was ANDREW MILLER and he may have lived nearby. Are there any birth, death, marriage or census records on any of these families?
