    2. VONDA K WILSON
    3. Thanks to those of you who responded. Here is what I have, as of this particular minute :>) Eliza Jane Lee b. 25 Aug 1832 d. 11 Oct 1916 either De Kalb Co. AL or TN Parents: Allen Lee b. 12 Mar 1812 Bledsoe Co. TN d. 15 Jul 1898 Valley Head, De Kalb Co. AL m. c.1930 ? Nancy Hinder b. ? d. ? Another name for her mother could've been Elizabeth surname unknown Allen Lee's father was William Lee b. 1777 in VA or NC and Ann Brock b. 1784 in NC. She died before 1831 in Limestone Co. AL; her father was James Brock. Allen's grandfather's name was also William, apparently; he brought his family to Pikeville, Bledsoe Co from VA, year unknown. William Lee (the son) died in 1836 in De Kalb Co. AL I have Allen's uncles, William's brothers--GreenBerry or Berry, Joseph, Vardamon, John, Andrew, and Spencer--but no definite sisters; possible Mirah/Myra and Emily. Several of these men went to Orange Co. IN c. 1820-1830. Found Vard and John in other counties in TN in other census info. Am still tracing their movements. Allen's children--that I know of--were all born in De Kalb Co. AL (Some census info says Eliza Jane b. in TN, but I think it's wrong) Louenza William b 19 Mar 1831 d. 01 Aug 1897 Eliza Jane b 25 Aug 1832 d 11 Oct 1916 Taney Co. MO Lucy Anne b. 1837 John b. 1840 Margarette b. 1842 Emily b. 1844 Malinda b. 1846 America Catherine b. 1884 (with Allen's 2nd known wife, Elizabeth.) Contradicting info states Elizabeth was Eliza Jane's mother. Allen Lee is supposed to have married several times. I have Eliza Jane's children, or most of them. Her son, William Allen Blansit, was left with relatives when she moved to IN first, then to Greene and Taney Counties in MO. She married Clement C. Blansit in 1849, in De Kalb Co, I think. He died 11 Nov 1864. A source says she married Leander Dean in 1864. I don't know any of his family, except what I received from Tim. Can anyone verify a date of marriage for them? I also know nothing about Clement Blansit. New info received tonight says that he fell ill and died of typhoid from drinking bad water. Allen Lee was a Lieutenant of the Lookout Rangers, a part of the 1st TN and AL Independant Vidette Cavalry. Leander Dean was also in the 1st, Co. G. Thanks for your help. Any info on Leander Dean or Clement Blansit would be much appreciated. Vonda Sheets
