Seeking information regarding a Adam Lowry bca1870 who moved to Dekalb Co about 1836/37 when the territory was opened. Adam came from Bledsoe Co, TN. He was married to a Partheny Painter. Also in the area was a Jasper Levi Lowry, whose son Samuel Cobb Lowry married Adam's dau Nancy. Due to the prevailing morals of the day, Nancy should not have been any kin to Samuel.
