A book was published back in the 1970's which gave a history of most of the schools that had been in existence in Dekalb County. However, I'm not sure where one could find that book. I remember looking at the book when it came out. It had tons of photographs with student names, etc. I think it would be a great help to any one looking for this information. I think it was put together by the Dekalb retired teachers association. Maybe someone knows about how to get access to this book.
