Responding to the Roll Call: Researching Daniels, King, McCollum, Pitts Thomas & Lucretia McCollum listed in 1830 & 1840 census' of Perry County. Her maiden name may have been King. Thomas died between 1845-1850. 1850 census of Perry County lists Lucretia with her minor children in Barron's Beat of Perry County. Lucretia apparently remarried, 2nd husband's name may have been Daniels. They may have lived in western Dallas County near Perry County. Thomas & Lucretia's oldest daughter, Nancy Jane McCollum married Richard Pitts. They are listed in the 1860 and 1870 census' of Harrell's Beat, Dallas County, but I can find no record of them after that. Thomas & Lucretia's oldest son, William P. McCollum, married Catherine O. Stevens of Dallas County. They lived first in Selma, then near Marion Junction where she died in the 1890s and he died in 1902. I'm interested in finding descendants of Richard & Nancy Jane (McCollum) Pitts, and information about the deaths and burying places of Thomas and Lucretia McCollum
