I am looking for information on Taylors, Herrings, and Paces in Dallas county in the 1920-1930's. Edd Taylor and Janie Herring Taylor born 1880's in Clarke co. Mississippi moved to Dallas co, Alabama between 1910 and 1920. Their children were Solon Feb 20,1912(m Elizabeth Taylor), Claudie Dec 4 1913 (m Johnnie J Pace), Cecil, and Evelyn as well as Rachel and Charles. Solon Buckley Taylor died in North Highlands, California in 1975 He served in the Air Force in WWII. Claudie had polio as a child and had a smaller leg do to it. Claudie divorced Johnnie in 1943, they had children James(?) and Mary Jane Margaret Pace (1939). Janie later moved to Montgomery. Possibly married a James Taylor Rice in the early 40's? Did Edd vanish? last information I have on him, he applied to not be drafted in WWI due to having a young family. Did he end up drafted? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
