    2. My Chambers family lived in Dallas County for almost twenty years: David CHAMBERS settled in Perry Co, AL. about 1823 with brother, Robert Boyd Chambers. They bought land near each other in the panhandle, just over the county line from Dallas County. J.P. 1833, purchased additional land in TSP 15-R8. In 1836, purchased land in Dallas Co, same TSP and R, and apparently located there. Census 1840 shows him in Dallas County. He died on 11 Jan 1841 in Dallas Co, AL. He was buried in Liberty Hill Cemetery, Dallas Co, AL. His wife, Eliza (Elizabeth?) CLEMENTS, was living in 1850 in Dallas Co, AL. She moved to Palestine, Anderson Co, Texas about 1854. She died there in 1860. David CHAMBERS and Elizabeth CLEMENTS had the following children: 1. John Henry CHAMBERS was born on 2 Oct 1806 in Hancock Co, GA. He Moved to and settled about 1836 in Dallas Co, AL. He Moved to and settled in 1853/54 in Anderson Co, TX. Came to Anderson Co on same train as widowed mother and brother David C Chambers. He died on 5 Jan 1884 in Fort Houston, Anderson Co, TX. He was married to Sarah Ann (Morris) TAYLOR (daughter of Pleasant TAYLOR and Nancy ? MOR(R)IS) on 18 Mar 1833 in Perry Co, AL. Sarah Ann (Morris) TAYLOR was born on 6 Aug 1816 in Tennessee. She died on 4 Aug 1844 in Dallas Co, AL. John Henry CHAMBERS and Sarah Ann (Morris) TAYLOR had the following children: i. Eliza Rebecca CHAMBERS. ii. Nancy Lucinda CHAMBERS. iii. Sarah Frances "Fannie" CHAMBERS. iv. Mary Ann CHAMBERS. v. David Bishop CHAMBERS. He was married to Jane AYRES on 30 Jun 1846 in Dallas Co, AL. Jane AYRES was born on 1 Jan 1811 in Tennessee ?. She died on 10 Jul 1885 in Fort Houston, Anderson Co, TX. Some researchers list her name as Jane Ayres Carrell. Possibly previous marriage? John Henry CHAMBERS and Jane AYRES had the following children: i. Robert Charles Boyd CHAMBERS. ii. William Merriwell "Billy" CHAMBERS. iii. Martha Bloomer CHAMBERS. iv. Catherine Agnes CHAMBERS. 2. Jane Adams CHAMBERS was born between 1810 and 1814 in Hancock Co, GA. She may have died before 1840. Children were raised by David and Eliza Clements. She was married to Jeremiah BEASON on 16 Dec 1828 in Perry Co, AL. Jane Adams CHAMBERS and Jeremiah BEASON had the following children: i. Elizabeth Ann BEASON. ii. Eliza Jane BEASON. iii. Sarah Amanda BEASON. 3. David Clements CHAMBERS was born in Mar 1816 in Hancock Co, GA. He Moved to and settled in 1854 in Anderson Co, TX. He died on 22 Feb 1890 in Walston Springs, Anderson Co, TX. He was buried in Chambers Cemetary. In 1854, David Clements Chambers, his wife and children, his mother, and his brother, John Henry moved to Anderson Co, TX. David settled in the Walston Springs Community while John Henry moved to the Fort Houstan Community. David Clements Chambers operated a grist mill and engaged in farming. He, his wife and son Tom died within a one week period. They died of pneumonia and were buried near their home. This burial ground became Chambers Cemetery for their kinsmen and neighbors. He was married to Elizabeth Ann ROGERS (daughter of Benjamin ROGERS and Penelope WEST) on 26 Mar 1843 in Dallas Co, AL. Elizabeth Ann ROGERS was born on 21 May 1817 in Georgia. She died on 16 Feb 1890 in Walston Springs, Anderson Co, TX. She was also known as Eliza. She was buried in Chambers Cemetary. David Clements CHAMBERS and Elizabeth Ann ROGERS had the following children: i. Joseph James CHAMBERS ii. Benjamin Franklin CHAMBERS. iii. Mary America CHAMBERS. iv. Thomas Clements CHAMBERS. 3. Sarah Ann CHAMBERS was born in 1817 in Hancock Co, GA. She was married to Richard C. MURRAY on 14 May 1840 in Dallas Co, AL. Married by Jesse Pitts. 6. Robert Boyd CHAMBERS was born in 1819 in Hancock Co, GA. Named in father's will. No further record. Dona Cole Donap4w@aol.com
