My ancestor Schinchingh M. Doak was the original patentee of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 12, Township 23 North, Range 10 East, St. Stephens Meridian, containing 39.53 acres, in Bibb County, Alabama. The patent was issued on June 1, 1858. I'm looking for ANY information on Schinchingh M. Doak: a will, perhaps probated in Dallas or Bibb County; a copy of the deed where he sold this tract of land, perhaps naming his spouse; or any other information that would shed ANY light on Robert Doak and any of his ancestors and/or descendants.
