The "A Family Called Fort" does have considerable information regarding the Harrell family since B.J. Fort married Charlotte Harrell and his sister Nancy Prince Fort married her brother Hardiman Israel Harrell. The parents of these two Harrells were Gabriel Holmes Harrell and Frances "Fanny" Harrell who brought their family to Dallas County from Bertie County, NC, in 1818.
