Hi, I picked up this message about Summerfield, My grandfather Thom Calhoun, lived in Valley Creek in 1900, I would appreciate any info about the area of Summerfield or Valley Creek during that time. I know that there is actually a creek that runs through and crosses hwy. 80 that has the name Valley Creek, my father Mickey Calhoun use to fish in that creek when I was a child in the late 40's. We lived on land owned by Mary Calhoun where the old Walmart now stands. Any pictures of the areas would be appreciated. Regards, ccalhoun44@aol.com
