Hello I am looking for descendants of slaves who were members of the above families. My Taylors were in Conecuh Co. in 1870, they were all born in Dallas Co. We heard they floated down the Alabama river to Conecuh Co. some time before the end of the Civil War. They may have been part of a dowry. I have searched all of the deed and will books so dodn't tell me to do that (smile) Del Jupiter
