Is there someone in Selma that can tell me about the Southern Railroad maintenance shop roundhouse that was on Water Ave. It was there at least until the late 1940's early 50's. Even the SRR museum denies knowledge of this facility, could it have been the L&N, I don't think so. I know it was there, my dad would take me there on Sunday afternoon and also to the locomotive grave yard that was alongside of the L&N line that crossed the river. Thanks for any help. Cleve Irby
