I just learned that an ancestor of mine, Andrew Kelly, filed a Revolutionary War pension claim July 13, 1835, before Judge George R. Evans in the county Court of Dallas County, AL. It is identified aas claim #R 5837. I live in North Carolina and will not be visiting Alabama until Christmas. I would surely appreciate it if someone who lives near the courthouse, I guess in Selma, could check to see if this claim is on file there. If it is, I would like to have a Xeroxed copy of it.
