Hi Cousins, Since we just found my ggggrandmother's maiden name I thought I would post this and see if anyone knows anything of these people. My ggggrandfather James H. ARMSTRONG was born abt. 1817 in South Carolina and died abt 1868 in Nacogdoches County, Texas. He married Jane E. Howie in Feb. 1836 in Dallas County, Alabama. Their first child Samuel Wesley was born September 10, 1838 in Dallas County, Alabama. Does anyone have any connections with this particular branch of the Armstrong or Howie family. Juanetta
