Hi Virginia- I observeded your message of 3-09-00 and your reference to the family name Meador. I am descended from James Meador of Greene Co., AL. through his daughter Mary who married Dr. Wm. Calvin Bland. I also have a copy of the will of John Meador and one of James Meador, my gggrand father. We have been searching for the parents of my James Meador & for the place of birth, ect. the Will mentions land in Carolina. but not county or city.
