Hello List I am looking for any additional data on the family of William "Albert" TIBBIT, b. abt 1861 in Ohio; d. 5/1937 in Selma, Dallas Co., AL. He was the son of Wallace TIBBIT. "Albert" was known to have had a store somewhere on the L & N Railroad line. "Albert" TIBBIT md. 10/30/1885 Madison Co., AL. to Susanna "Susan/Sue/Sussie" WALKER. She was b. 8/1858 in Putnam Co., TN.; d. 11/07/1930 Selma, Dallas Co., AL. Both are suppose to be buried at Live Oak Cemetery in Selma. They resided at 1212 Selma Dr. He was an overseer on a dairy farm at the time of his death. They had three daughters, according to the 1900 Giles Co., TN. Census: Estella, b. 3/1899; Geneva, b. 11/1894 and Alberta, b. 1898. Estella was known to have married & had a child. We know nothing else about Geneva. Alberta was 20 yrs old and still living at home on the 1920 Lowndes Co., AL. Census. Does anyone know anything about the TIBBIT family? Or have marriage or cemetery records for Dallas Co., AL.?
