Hi Listers, Would someone who has access to the 1850 census of Dallas Co. please look up Thomas H. McDonald for me? I have access only to the index. My Thomas H. McDonald (McDonnold) was born prior to 1800 and married Sarah Turner in Overton Co., TN. The 1842 court records of that county state that Sarah is asking for a divorce, as Thomas deserted her more than 2 years prior to that, and is not a resident of the state. Thomas had an uncle, James McDonald, who died in AL. in about 1820, and I thought perhaps he had gone to live with relatives there. Many thanks! Sincerely, Joyce Stover
