I am from John Meador,born 17 oct 1760 died23 Oct 1833, he left Will in Dallas Co Al 1833. Wife Jemima died 1818 I think in Dallas Co because he was in 1820 census as a widow, Later census shows his children born Ga, but where? John Meador of Newton Co Ga was his twin son born 20 April 1794. Twin to William. Does any of this ring a bell. Virginia

Virginia, I have a John Meador born March 18, 1762 (died after 1840) who was married to a Jemima Melton. Shows that they were married on April 5, 1792 and that she died October 6, 1796. He then married Delilah Jones (born about 1780) in 1797. She died after 1870. I don't know where they lived and don't have names for any of their children. The source of this information is shown to be Phil Crowther and SuZQR@aol.com. I don't know them,do you?? If you think this is the same John, his father's name was shown to be Thomas Meador and his mother was Keziah Moberly. I have it farther back than that if you think their is a connection.
