I am trying to locate John and Rebecca (Jones) JORDAN. Both were supposedly born in Selma AL. they had a son John Tyler JORDAN who was supposedly born Nov 9, 1840 in Selma AL. I do not find them in the 1850 census. I am trying to find out the brothers and sisters of John T Jordan. By 1862 he was living in DeSoto Parish LA, was Capt of 12 Inf, LA, CSA Any help would be appreciated!!! Dianne Jordan Calmes calmoose@aol.com
